Our Grief Journal is thoughtfully designed to provide a safe space for you to express, reflect, and process your grief, no matter where you are in your journey. With a combination of structured self-reflection pages, grief information, activity pages and prompts, and support resources, this journal is your companion through the ups and downs of grief.

What’s inside:

  • Check-in Pages: Start each day or week by checking in with yourself. These pages help you track your thoughts, feelings and experiences, giving you the opportunity to acknowledge how you’re feeling in real time. It’s an essential practice for recognizing shifts in your grief journey.
  • Letter Writing & Journaling Pages: Express your thoughts and feelings in the most personal way—through writing (or drawing). Whether you’re writing letters to your loved one or younger self, or reflecting on your own experience, these pages offer a safe space to reflect on your thoughts and feelings.
  • Grief Information Pages: Learn what grief is and the types of grief, as well as gain insight into the common emotional, physical, and psychological experiences people face. These pages offer gentle guidance to help you better understand your own process, with reassurance that your feelings are valid.
  • Activity Pages: Sometimes, grief can be confusing and overwhelming. These activity pages are designed to guide you through reflective activities that help you to express your personal thoughts, feelings and experiences with grief. These pages range from self care activities through to activities on the physical symptoms of grief in your body.
  • Support Resources: In moments of deep sorrow, knowing where to turn can be a lifeline. The journal includes a list of resources—from hotlines to grief support groups and mental health professionals—so that you can find the support you need when you’re ready. In addition, there is a page dedicated for you to include your own support system and contact numbers.
